Cape Town - Banyana Banyana will face Equatorial Guinea in the second match of the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations tournament hosted in Ghana from November 17 to December 1, 2018.
According to the official SAFA website, this comes after a decision taken by the Appeal Board of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) overturned a decision made by the Disciplinary Council in September.
Banyana Banyana will now play Nigeria in their opening match, followed by a clash with Equatorial Guinea and then Zambia.
On November 7, 2018, the Appeal Board of Confédération Africaine de Football held a meeting in order to decide on the appeal of the Federación Ecuatoguineana de Fútbol of the decision of the Disciplinary Council of September 8, 2018.
