Cape Town - Cape Town City and struggling Baroka played out to a four goal thriller in Saturday night's Absa Premiership encounter at Cape Town Stadium.
City came out of the blocks full of confidence and seemed more likely to open their account in the contest.
With that said, Bakgaga were keeping it tight and chances were few and far between in the game in the Mother City.
Yet, just before the break the Citizens almost hit the front as Ayanda Patosi's cross found Roland Putsche, who headed just wide of the target.
Nonetheless, the Citizens hit the front in the 44th minute through Patosi. The lively forward was on hand to tuck home when Siphelele Mthembu's header hit the woodwork.
Yet, the away outfit hit back in the 50th minute as Tebogo Sodi broke in behind the defence to slot home beyond Peter Leeuwenburgh from close range.
The away outfit were in the ascendancy when Thato Mokeke was adjudged to have handled in the box. Striker Jemondre Dickens showed composure to hit home from the penalty spot.
Putsche came close to a leveler as his strike hit the underside of the crossbar soon after.
However, the Austrian would not be denied in the closing stages as he equalised at the death in the 85th minute.
After getting on the end of a superb through ball, he powered home a clinical finish. City's next game is at home against Free State Stars, whereas, Baroka take on Orlando Pirates away on 22 January.
