Star admits she 'hated' her sing-song
She's got one of the biggest voices in pop music today, so fans of Demi Lovato were more than a little disappointed when she seemed to struggle with her ear-piece during her X Factor USA performance last week - resulting in some noticeable pitching issues.
Demi herself has admitted that she "hated" the rendition of 'Neon Lights' in question, after watching it back earlier this week.
The star, who earlier this year scored her best single-week sales to date with latest album Demi, promised to treat her fans to "something special" to make it up to them.
Addressing her 20.2 million Twitter followers, she wrote: "So I watched my XF performance back and kinda sorta HATED it.. BUT I PROMISE I'm gonna make it up with something special really soon".
She added: "SO motivated to work hard and to KILL IT for tour!!!! LET'S DO THIS!!"
Her fans remained as supportive as ever, with one saying "hahaha it was awful, I know you can do better", and another denying there were even any issues, writing: "baby you did amazing there's nothing to hate on it we love you Demetria".
The official clip of the performance on The X Factor USA's YouTube page has still racked up 12,000 Likes, and an impressive 600,000 views.
The episode was, however, the lowest-rated in the show's three-year history; achieving a demo rating of just 0.9, and fewer than 4 million viewers.
